What this is

MSRX Meeting is a free video meeting tool provided by MSRX. It needs no account and stores no meetings. Using it means accepting these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use it.

A room holds up to 5 people and exists only while somebody is in it.

Who you are agreeing with

MSRX Meeting is operated by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name "MSRX". MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company, and nothing here should be read as implying a company behind it.

In these terms "we", "us", "our" and "MSRX" mean Mrinal Singh Raja. "You" means the person using MSRX Meeting. Written notice reaches us at mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to online services on your own account — several EU member states set 16 — you need your parent or guardian's permission until you reach it.

If you are using it for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that organisation.

Recording, transcription and captions are your responsibility

This is the most important clause on this page, so it is not buried.

Recording a conversation, transcribing it, or captioning it may require the consent of every person in it. Several countries and several US states — California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington, Massachusetts and Florida among them — require the consent of all parties, and recording without it can be a criminal offence as well as a civil one.

The software helps: recording and the AI features are off until switched on, everyone in the room is told when either starts, and a banner stays up naming who is recording. What the software cannot do is obtain consent for you. Whoever starts a recording or switches on transcription is responsible for having the permission their own law requires, from everyone present — including anyone within earshot of their microphone who is not in the meeting.

MSRX is not a party to your conversation and cannot be responsible for how you record it.

What you agree not to do

• Use it for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone.
• Share material that is illegal to share, including material that sexually exploits children.
• Record or transcribe people who have not agreed to it where their agreement is required.
• Attempt to intercept, disrupt or gain access to meetings you were not invited to, or to the systems behind the service.
• Resell the service, or automate access to it in a way that degrades it for other people.

AI output is a draft, not a record

Transcription, captions and summaries are produced by machine learning models. They mishear names, drop words, invent plausible sentences and are worse with accents, crosstalk and background noise.

Do not rely on them as a legal, medical, financial or official record of what was said. Check anything that matters against what you actually heard.

Availability

The service is free and provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, or that a meeting will connect. Connections depend on your network, your browser and third-party infrastructure outside our control.

It may change or stop at any time. Because nothing is stored, there is nothing to export before it does.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, MSRX is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data arising from your use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Since the service is free, no amount has been paid for it. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000).

Complaints

Complaints, including about the conduct of another user, go to mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com. That address also reaches the grievance contact for the purposes of India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days.

Because meetings are not recorded or logged anywhere, MSRX generally has no record of what happened in a room and cannot investigate it. Report serious matters to your local law enforcement, who can approach the participants directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. If you use the service as a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away rights your local law gives you that cannot be taken away by agreement.

Changes

Material changes move the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the revised terms.
